The Midland Training and Simulation Centre
The Midland Training and Simulation Centre (MTSC) at Queen's Hospital Burton is a dedicated, multi-professional, training environment providing a versatile and innovative approach to training and education.
Xổ số miền bắc thứ 3The centre has state of the art audio-visual equipment including two clinical simulation rooms that replicate the ward environments, two lecture rooms with electronic whiteboards and live video feedback from the simulation rooms. In addition to this, the SimMan is wireless and can be put into any clinical area to simulate a wide variety of scenarios.
About our services
We offer a wide variety of simulation and resuscitation courses for group sizes of up to 24 candidates, including:
- Various resuscitation courses including BLS, ILS, ALS, PBLS, PILS, RN
- The Generic Instructor’s course
- Human Factor course “Recognising Risk & Improving Patient Safety”
- Simulation courses including those for the Acutely Ill Patient
- Obstetric Emergencies
- Stroke Management
- Regional Novice Anaesthetic teaching
- Burton Regional Ultrasound
- Regional Paediatric Study Day
- Ward based simulation with “real” patients in a clinical setting
