Visiting restrictions in our hospitals
Vising restrictions remain in place at all of our hospitals to protect our colleagues, visitors and patients. While we understand it’s important for patients to be able to see their family and friends we have to keep safety our top priority. Suspending visiting helps us to prevent the spread of infection.

- Normal visiting patterns do not apply to the Labour ward due to the nature of care being given.
- To ensure the security & privacy for all patients on the labour ward there are no visiting hours.
- The two named birth partners are welcome throughout the duration on the labour.
- No children until after the baby is born, then only baby's siblings may visit with the named birth partner.
- Alternative arrangements are at the discretion of the midwife in charge and need to be made in advance.
